Man stabbed during 1am attack in Swansea lane is arrested by police

A man has suffered stab wounds following an assault in Swansea.

The incident took place near Philadelphia Lane, in the Hafod area, at around 1am on Sunday, June 28.

The 34-year-old man received superficial stab wounds as a result of the incident.

Officers from South Wales Police arrested him on suspicion of being concerned in Class A drugs but he has since been bailed.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "South Wales Police detectives are appealing for info after an assault near Philadelphia Lane at approximately 1am on June 28.

"A 34-year-old man received superficial stab wounds.

"He was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in Class A drugs & has been bailed."
