Man stabbed at major Sydney train station

A crime scene has been set up at Parramatta Railway Station after a man was stabbed multiple times. (AAP)

A man is in a serious condition after being stabbed at a major Sydney train station.

The 41-year-old man was stabbed in his abdomen multiple times at Parramatta Railway Station at lunchtime on Wednesday.

Police say they found the man after being called to deal with the incident around 1pm.

The man is now being treated at Westmead Hospital.

Police established a crime scene and an investigation is underway.
