A man was stabbed and hit with a hammer during a sickening attack in Salford.
Police were called to reports of an incident involving a knife on Tudbury Way at around 4pm on Monday, October 21.
The 42-year-old victim was taken to hospital having suffered with stab wounds.
Police said he remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A 42-year-old man and a 20-year-old man have been arrested on suspicion of section 18 assault.
They both remain in custody for questioning.
