Detective Inspector Ben Dyer said: "This was a frightening incident that has left a man with stab wounds and several injuries to his head and face.

"No one should be left to feel scared and unsafe in their house and we are working hard to find those responsible and bring them to justice.

"If you recognise the man pictured then please let us know, as we believe he may hold information vital to our ongoing investigation.

"We would also appeal to anyone who was in the Old Swan area on Friday 26 November at 10.30pm who saw anyone or anything suspicious to contact us as they may have information which is vital to our investigation.
