Bizarre footage shows a man wheeling a caravan through the streets of Leeds as residents look on in shock.
The man was seen singlehandedly towing his caravan – which weighs more than a tonne – in the middle of the road in Woodhouse, Leeds.
Passersby appeared baffled as they watched from the bus stop while motorists overtook the heavy load as it crawled along at a snail's pace, reports Leeds Live.
The strange event took place at around 3.30pm on Thursday and was caught on video in a clip that has since gone viral on TikTok.
School worker Stef Faren said she could not believe her eyes when she spotted the man in the street.
The learning guide worker captured the footage while waiting to catch the bus home.
"It cheered me up after a hard day at work to be honest," Stef said.
"Gave me a laugh, I’ve never seen anything so bizarre. I didn’t say anything, he just walked past me."
Stef has been stunned by the level of attention it has received online and never expected her TikTok account Stef31x to gain so much traffic with 195,000 views.
"I didn’t for one minute think it would attract that amount of attention," she said.
Commenting on the video, one viewer joked: "Buying stuff on the Facebook marketplace has gone too far."
Another lighthearted viewer said: "He's just taking his caravan for a walk. Nothing to see."
Seeing the funny side, others commented that perhaps he was "moving house", "saving up for a car" or that he was trying to save on high fuel prices.
Another commented: "I'’m surprised he’s actually pulling it."
