While some may be enjoying the sunshine by playing on the beach, sunbathing, or splashing around in a pool, this man evidently prefers his winter sports.
He was seen skiing not on the water or down a mountain piste but on the A30 in Penzance, Cornwall.
Admirably he refused to let the glorious sunshine ruin his day and was dressed in full ski gear gliding along the road.
Cornwall Live reported the enthusiastic skier was seen gliding around a roundabout before heading off down the road to the amusement of motorists.
Video footage of the moment shows the man in a full skiing outfit along with a cycling helmet and sunglasses.
Pushing himself along with ski poles, his skis appear to have been adapted for the road with small wheels on each end.
Despite temperatures reaching 20C the skier looked absolutely delighted with how he was spending the bank holiday.
Passing motorists shouted and sounded their horns in amusement as they overtook the alpine enthusiast.
Robert Fuller was travelling along the A30 in a van when he spotted the skiier and then shared the video on social media.
The clip has since been viewed more than 5,000 times.
