Man spotted ploughing through Glasgow Fort on children's motorbike at full speed

Shoppers were left stunned after a daredevil ploughed through a shopping precinct at full speed on a tiny motorbike.

The incident happened yesterday at the Glasgow Fort shopping centre off the M8 in the east end of the city.

The tracksuit-clad biker looks to have been moving at a speed more suitable to a motorway than a pedestrian walkway busy with shoppers taking advantage of the relaxed lockdown restrictions that has allowed non-essential retail to fully reopen once again.

Fortunately it seems that shoppers managed to avoid colliding with the biker, possibly due to the deafening noise caused by the bike going at such a velocity through the shopping centre.

The incident was captured on camera by one bystander, with the video quickly going viral after it was posted on Twitter, notching up over 400,000 views since it was shared yesterday.

Viewers expressed disbelief at the speed with which the man was travelling at on the small motorbike, which is designed for children rather than adults to use.

Plenty chose to see the funny side, sharing response such as "The Fort and the Furious", "Glasgow GP" and "Bloody hell, the Fort!".
