A young man was praised for 'helping out where he can' as he handed out money and food to people in the city centre.
The man, who one eyewitness described as 'young', was spotted multiple times around Liverpool City Centre handing out bundles of money and many bags of food. On Thursday, March 24 he was spotted again giving bags and cash to homeless people around Liverpool.
The eyewitness, who asked not to be named, said he stopped the man to ask for his name but he declined and said he 'doesn't do it for the recognition'. He added he had been doing it 'on and off for a while' and didn't chat for much longer.

The eyewitness said: "A few months ago a man was spotted handing out money and food to the homeless in Liverpool City Centre. Once again this week I have seen the same young man handing out bundles of money and many bags of food.
"Me and my family did stop to ask his name, but he declined and said he doesn't do it for any recognition. He said he's been doing it on and of for a while he didn't chat for long."
He added homeless people in the city knew of the man and had been helped by him in the past. He said: "He deserves some sort of recognition."
