Man spots 'Jesus Christ' on gents toilet door at IKEA in Glasgow

A Scots man has claimed he can see the outline of Jesus on a toilet door in an IKEA store in Glasgow.

The silhouette of the son of God was spotted next to the door handle in the male bogs at the huge furniture store, Glasgow Live reports.

A photo posted on social media shows what appears to be a bearded man in the woodwork resembling the holy figure.

But some are less convinced it is any kind of divine intervention, with one describing the veneer as looking like a dog's rear end.

He tweeted: "Em'day else clocked Jesus on the back of the gents toilet door in Ikea, Glasgow?"

A pal was having none of it and said the figure "looks like a dugs a**e" rather than the Holy Son of God.

Several people have posted about the figure on social media over the years ever since the store opened on the outskirts of the city in 2001.

While some have been startled by the sighting of Jesus while spending a penny, others have said it looks like Gandalf from lord of the Rings.

One person even went as far to suggest that it looks more like Osama Bin Laden.
