A man has sustained serious injuries following a stabbing in Erskine.
The 35 year old was slashed during the attack at Maxwell Drive at around 9pm last night.
He was taken to the Royal Alexandra Hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
His injuries are not life threatening.
Police investigating the serious assault say enquiries are ongoing.
They are appealing for all those with information in relation to the attack to come forward.
