A man's arm was slashed after a fight inside a home in Walton.
Merseyside Police received a call just after 5.40pm on Thursday, November 24 following reports of a fight inside a home on Rawcliffe Road, just off Rice Lane. Once at the scene officers found a man with a slash wound to his arm and called for an ambulance.
It was reported he was slashed after an altercation inside the property, which saw him be attacked by another man. The victim was taken to hospital, where his condition is described as serious, but stable.

Officers arrested a 49-year man from Liverpool on suspicion of wounding with intent at the property. He was taken to a police station in Merseyside where he remains in custody.
CCTV, witness and forensic enquiries are ongoing at the scene.
