Man 'slapped in face' and passengers verbally abused as gardai called to DART station in South Dublin

A woman was taken to a South Dublin Garda Station after a passenger was allegedly slapped in the face while a number of people were verbally abused on a DART.

It's alleged the woman slapped one passenger in the face before staff alerted gardai.

The train stopped at Blackrock and the woman was conveyed to the garda station.

The route was delayed for around 20 minutes.
