A man has elicited a mixed reaction after proposing to his love outside a plane toilet.
For the majority of people, a trip to the plane toilet is not an event to be remembered.
Once you've managed to unfurl yourself from the cramped seat and clamber over your neighbour into the aisle, often an awkward wait in front of the starting front row follows.
Inside, navigating the pokey confines of the toilet while knowing you're just a fragile looking lock and thin door away from falling into eyeline of a planeload of laughing passengers with your trousers down is rarely fun.
Given the universal nature of this unpleasant experience, the internet was surprised to find that one man plumbed for the doorway of a plane toilet as the ideal location for a proposal.

In a now widely shared clip aboard a packed flight to Cancun, Mexico an unnamed passenger can be seen kneeling in the aisle with a ring box in hand.
He and his fellow travellers sit eagerly for the unsuspecting bride-to-be to come out of the toilet. They wait with baited breath, anxious smiles on their faces.
Had the woman known so many people were gazing intently in the door as she went about her ablutions inside, it is easy to imagine the pressure may've got to her.
After the kneeling man knocks on the door in a bid to get her to hurry, she opens up, spots her boyfriend on one knee and lets out a scream of delight.
She raises her hand to her mouth in shock as passengers sitting behind her boyfriend - one of whom is holding up a sign reading 'will you marry me?' cheer in unison.
The soon-to-be-fiancé takes a ring from the box and slides it onto her finger and then kisses her hand, before rising onto his feet and giving her a hug.
While the proposal appears to have been a success, it has receives a far amount of criticism online from those who couldn't quite understand the chosen location.
"I hope no one ever does this to me... in a moving plane that I can't get out off… with strangers," one person wrote.
Another said: "I would say no if my husband purposed like this."
A third added: "Don't ever do this. I'm probably pooping."
There were those who thought the plan was a romantic one however, with one person arguing: "I think I love this one. I'm not a fan of dramatic proposal, but I really love this. No drama. Filled with real people not staged audience."
Another said: "I'm loving how the passengers were in on it."
And a third chimed in: "Everyone understood the assignment and this is refreshing and beautiful and I wish you both a lifetime of happiness."
