But one man has left us feeling very jealous after revealing his special feature - a secret cinema room.
Frankly, after a year of not going to the cinema, this looks like heaven on earth.
Lots of people were impressed by the video showing off the unusual space - which has racked up more than 600,000 views on TikTok.
In the video, the man walks into his guest bedroom and pulls open the wardrobe.
He shows off a "secret door" that leads him into the impressive looking private cinema - complete with Christmas classic film Home Alone on the screen.
The incredible space has room for eight people and features some nice luxury touches - including recliner chairs, a fire screen and posters on the wall.
But people's jaws were left on the floor after the man continued to walk into another room - filled with sweets.
The pantry space is packed full of popular snacks to enjoy while watching a film.
The video of the space has gone viral with thousands of people commenting.
One person joked: "The guest is gonna wake up in the middle of the night and see 15 people pile out of their closet.
Another asked: "If that's in the guest bedroom, what is in the main?"
A third commented: "It hurts seeing other people live your dreams lol, that's freaking awesome."
Meanwhile, one woman shared her shock after her family discovered a hidden room in their basement.
In a video shared on TikTok, Lynn Whitfield shared how they discovered the secret space underneath their house.
The room was packed full with ancient books - - including "multiple first editions" - and records.
The incredible discovery has gone viral on TikTok in a video which has been viewed more than two million times.
The caption of the video said: "Just found this hidden room under [our] house."
