A man has suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot in the stomach with a crossbow.
The 33-year-old man was found on Pield Heath Road in Uxbridge, west London, suffering abdominal injuries caused by a crossbow arrow shortly before 8pm on Monday.
He was taken to a west London hospital where he is in a critical condition.
No arrests have been made.
Cordons remain in place in Pield Heath Road near the junction with Copperfield Avenue.
