
A 54-year-old man was shot to death Sunday in West Pullman on the Far South Side, Chicago police said.
About 8:25 p.m., the man was in the 12100 block of South Loomis Street when an unknown person approached him and fired shots, police said.
He was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not yet confirmed his death.
No one is in custody as Area South detectives investigate the shooting.
