A shooting in the 100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue, June 22, 2019, in West Garfield Park left a man dead.
A man was fatally wounded by gunfire Friday in West Garfield Park, police said.
The 29-year-old was walking when multiple males approached him and someone shot him in the back, Chicago police said. The shooting happened about 10:10 p.m. in the 100 block of North Kilbourn Avenue.
He was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in serious condition, police said. He was pronounced dead Saturday morning. The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the man’s death.
