A man was shot and killed Tuesday morning in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side.
The man, 24, was shot in the back about 10:54 a.m. in the 300 block of South Kilpatrick Street, Chicago police said. The man was taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.
Further details were not immediately available as Area North Detectives investigate.
