A 24-year-old man was shot to death Monday afternoon in Gresham on the South Side.
The man was on the street just before 6 p.m. in the 7500 block of South Harvard Avenue when someone fired shots at him, Chicago police said.
He was shot in the chest and was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
His name hasn’t been released.
Area Two detectives are investigating.
