Man shot to death in Englewood

A 36-year-old man was fatally shot Sunday in Englewood on the South Side.

Someone in a vehicle pulled up and shot him in the chest and leg about 12:37 a.m. in the 6800 block of South Laflin Street, Chicago police said.

The man, identified as Angelo Bronson of Ashburn, was pronounced dead at the University of Chicago Medical Center at 1:11 a.m., according to police and the Cook County medical examiner’s office.

No one is in custody as Area One detectives investigate.
