A man was killed in a shooting Friday in Chatham on the South Side.
The 19-year-old was shot at 12:21 p.m. in the 8000 block of South Dobson, according to Chicago police.
He was taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:09 p.m., police said.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office has not released details about the death.
Further details were not immediately available. Area South detectives are investigating.
