
A man was killed in a shooting Monday in west suburban Aurora.
Officers responding to reports of shots fired about 1:45 a.m. found the man with a gunshot wound inside a vehicle in the 200 block of South Lincoln Avenue, according to a statement from Aurora police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation as detectives continue to canvass the area and interview potential witnesses, police said. Crime scene technicians are also collecting forensic evidence.
