Man shot, killed in West Rogers park

A man was shot and killed Tuesday in West Rogers Park on the North Side, according to police.

Officers responded to a call of shots fired about 9:16 p.m. in the 6400 block of North Campbell Avenue where they discovered the man in an alley, Chicago police said.

The man, whose age isn’t known, had a gunshot wound to his back and was pronounced dead on the scene, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details about his death.

No arrests have been made as Area North detectives investigate.
