A 32-year-old man was shot and killed Wednesday in Gary, according to the Lake County coroner’s office.
Joseph Nieto, 32 of Gary, was found about 10 p.m. in the 2300 block of Edison Street with a gunshot wound, the coroner’s office said. He lived on the same block.
He was pronounced dead at 10:40 p.m., the coroner’s office said. His death has been ruled a homicide.
Details about the shooting were not made available by Gary police.
