A 21-year-old man was killed, and a woman was hurt in a shooting Sunday in Austin on the West Side, police said.

The man was sitting in a parked car about 10:13 p.m. at a gas station in the 5600 block of West Bloomingdale Avenue when two men walked up to him and opened fire, Chicago police said. He was hit in the chest and buttocks.

He was rushed to Stroger Hospital where he later died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the death.

The woman, 21, was grazed in the leg, arm and she was treated on the scene, police said.
