
A 29-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Saturday in west suburban Woodridge.
An officer heard several gunshots about 11:50 p.m. in the 7200 block of Woodard Avenue and responded to the scene, Woodridge police said in a statement.
The officer found the man with a gunshot wound and provided aid, police said. He was taken to a hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation indicates the shooting stemmed from an argument, police said. Woodridge police are investigating.
