Man shot in thigh in Roseland

Sun-Times file

A 25-year-old man was wounded in a shooting Friday afternoon in the Roseland neighborhood on the South Side.

At 1:20 p.m., the man told investigators he was inside a business in the 11300 block of South Michigan Avenue when he heard gunfire and felt pain, Chicago police said.

He took himself to Roseland Community Hospital with a gunshot wound to his thigh, police said. His condition had stabilized.

Area South Detectives are investigating.
