A man was critically wounded in a drive-by shooting Wednesday evening in the Grand Crossing neighborhood on the South Side.
At 7:36 p.m., the 20-year-old was sitting in a vehicle in the 7400 block of South Dorchester when another vehicle drove by and someone inside fired shots, according to Chicago police.
He was struck in the arm and back and taken to the University of Chicago Medical Center, police said. He was listed in critical condition.
Area Central detectives are investigating.
