A man was shot Saturday in the ankle in West Englewood on the South Side.
He was shot about 3:35 p.m. in the 6900 block of South Ashland Avenue, Chicago police said.
He was taken to Franciscan Health in Olympia Fields, but his condition was not immediately known.
Area One detectives are investigating.
