Man shot dead in West Pullman: police

A man was killed in a shooting Wednesday in West Pullman on the Far South Side, according to police.

He was walking to his car about 4:40 p.m. in the 11600 block of South Ada Street when someone fired shots from a silver-colored vehicle, Chicago police said.

The 27-year-old was struck multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Cook County medical examiner’s office hasn’t released details on the fatality.

Area Two detectives are investigating.
