
A man was shot dead Thursday evening in West Pullman on the Far South Side, according to police.
He was standing on a sidewalk when someone in a passing gray SUV fired shots at him, Chicago police said. The 31-year-old was struck multiple times in the chest.
The attack happened about 5:45 p.m. in the 100 block of West 119th Street, police said.
He was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where he was pronounced dead, according to police.
The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately release details about the death.
No arrests have been made, police said.
