A 32-year-old man died Friday after being shot in Joliet.
Derrick Williams-Scott was shot in the 1100 block of Richards Street, according to the Will County coroner’s office.
Scott was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Joliet and pronounced dead 12:47 a.m., the coroner’s office said.
Joliet police, who are investigating the shooting, haven’t responded to a request for details.
An autopsy is scheduled for later Friday.
