A man has been charged with attempted murder after allegedly stabbing a police officer on Brisbane's south side earlier this month.
The 25-year-old, who was shot several times in the incident by the officer's partner, remains in hospital.
He is expected to face a bedside court hearing on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on August 5, when the two police officers visited a house on Hillgrove Street in Upper Mount Gravatt.
They had gone to the property to serve documents.
Police said at the time the man lunged at one of the officers with a knife, slashing him across the face.
His female partner responded by shooting the man multiple times in the abdomen.
The officer who was attacked was taken to hospital with facial wounding described as serious.
