Man shares 'smash' pizza hack that gives perfect slices fresh out of the oven in seconds

If you are someone who wants to waste absolutely no time after cooking pizza, just getting slices of cheesy goodness into your mouth, then we have a hack to share with you.

This cooking trick will help save you the faff of slicing your frozen pizza when it comes out of the oven - and prevent unnecessary washing up of a chopping board and knife.

We'll dub the hack the 'smash' method, as it does involve smashing your frozen pizza on your kitchen side.

Several TikTok users have gone viral after sharing the life hack, which sees them place the pizza on the side, then break it twice, lengthways and widthways over the edge of the counter.

This separates it into four even quarters, with minimal effort.

Users including @trendkings and @conanharkin have garnered hundreds of thousands of views sharing this method.

One person was quick to brand the life hack "genius", adding: "Why have I never thought of that?"

Another said: "This man living in year 3022."

Someone else proclaimed: "I always do that it really does work!!!"

"My whole life is a lie," joked a fourth.

However, not everyone was convinced by the trick, with some saying you'd have to put your pizza on a baking tray if you cooked it this way, or the cheese could fall through the slices and cause trouble.

"It's only a life hack for those who use a pan and not directly on the rack," pointed out a fellow TikToker.

"I'll just stick to doing it the normal way," wrote a different user. "It's just as easy."

A second showed how they had no use for the hack or a knife at all, adding: "Umm I just fold it and eat it like a taco."
