A man has been brutally shamed for proposing to the love of his life in the oddest place.
Whilst most people dream of stunning scenery, candle-lit dinners or a thoughtful momento to their relationship when their partner pops the big question, this man had another idea in mind.
He proposed to his girlfriend while she was on the toilet, then bought her a sex swing to celebrate the happy moment.
In one picture the bride can be seen on the toilet with her jeans around her ankles as her fiancé sat on one knee holding the ring box in front of her - their dog also witnessed the special moment.
The second snap is of the newly-engaged couple holding hands as the woman shows off her new gorgeous emerald and diamond cluster ring.
She wrote: "So most random engagement!
"I've got friends in this group, so they will know that this is just me.
"My fella proposed while I was on the toilet."
And added: "Edit: To celebrate our engagement, he just ordered a sex swing."
Unsurprisingly the proposal received mixed opinions.
Whilst many people were amused by the odd timing, others were disgusted and couldn’t understand why he couldn’t have waited a moment longer to ask her to marry him.
One person said: "Please baby jeebus tell me she washed her hands before putting the ring on; leave me with that thin hope for the future of humanity."
Another added: "Why would you flex that on social media?"
And a few people joked that 'romance was dead'.
