Man sexually assaulted on a train travelling from Glasgow

A man has been sexually assaulted on a train travelling from Glasgow Central Station.

The victim was a passenger on the 11.45pm Glasgow Central to Largs service on Friday July 2 when the incident occurred.

He got separated from his friends and asked another man if he had seen them.

However, he was then sexually assaulted by the man.

Police are appealing for witnesses and they have released a description of the alleged attacker.

The man is described as a white male in his early 20s, and was of medium build and around 5'9" in height.

He had blonde curly hair and a nose ring, and was wearing dark jeans and trainers.

Officers are keen to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to help with their investigation.
