Police have launched an investigation after a man was sexually assaulted in a Merchant City lane in Glasgow.
Officers confirmed a 28-year-old man was attacked in a lane off John Street, last night (Friday).
A Police Scotland spokesperson confirmed to Glasgow Live: "Enquiries are ongoing into a sexual assault on a 28-year-old man in a lane behind John Street, Glasgow, which was reported on Friday, September 6.
"Officers are following a number of lines of enquiry in relation to the incident."
