An Australian man has been charged with arson after setting fire to his own home because he was “sick and tired of cleaning it”.

Warrnambool Police arrested Anthony Graeme Humphrey in Victoria, Australia after he set fire to his home while his partner was still asleep inside, according to the Sun.

A police investigation claimed the 42-year-old and his partner had argued at around 7pm on Friday.

After arriving at the scene, police arrested Humphrey for damage and assault.

But later that night, Humphrey violated a restraining order by going back to the house and setting fire to it while his partner slept in the bedroom.
