A man was shot and wounded on a CTA bus in the Chatham neighborhood Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. as a man, 34, began fighting with a person who pulled out a gun and fired as the man stood in the doorway of a bus near 81st Street and Cottage Grove Avenue, according to Chicago police said.
The man was struck in the stomach and transported to the University of Chicago Medical Center in good condition, police said.
