A man was left seriously injured after being hit by a van in Stockport.
It happened just before 10am on Thursday October 29 on Green Lane in Heaton Moor.
Police said they were called after reports a van had hit a pedestrian at the junction with Didsbury Road, near to the Pyramid roundabout.
Emergency services raced to the scene and the 57 year-old was taken to hospital.
He remains in a serious condition, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said in a statement released this afternoon.
An investigation into the collision has been launched and is ongoing they said.
No arrests have been made.
However officers are appealing for any witnesses or anyone with footage of the incident or its build-up to come forward.
PC Simon Folwell from GMP's Road Policing Unit, said: "A man has been left in a serious condition following this incident and we are doing all we can to establish the circumstances surrounding the collision.
"Our thoughts remain with him and his family as he continues to receive treatment in hospital.
"Our investigation is very much ongoing into this incident and we are urging anyone who may have witnessed the collision or were in the area at the time to come forward and assist police in our enquiries.
"Similarly if anyone has CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist us with our investigation then please come forward and speak with police."
