A man was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after being attacked on Buchanan Street yesterday in broad daylight.
Police responded to reports of the assault around 6:05pm yesterday, and subsequently taped off the scene near to Argyle Street as they conducted their enquiries.
A 24-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries, and was released a few hours later.
Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.
A Police Scotland spokeswoman said: “We received reports of an assault on Buchanan Street, Glasgow around 6.05pm on Thursday, 25 June.
"A 24-year-old man was taken to Glasgow Royal Infirmary for treatment to serious injuries and was released a few hours later. Enquiries into the incident are ongoing.”
