Man seriously injured after row at nightclub

A 21-year-old man remains in a serious condition in hospital after being injured in a row at a Runcorn nightspot.

Cheshire police said officers were called to Alchemy on High Street at 1.43am on Saturday, July 25.

On arrival, they found paramedics were treating a 21-year-old casualty who was taken to hospital.

A force spokeswoman said he remains in a "serious but stable condition".

Detectives are keen to hear from witnesses and also to trace his mobile phone, which went missing during the incident.

Detective Constable John Ellis said: “We’re still piecing together events from that night and are appealing to anyone who saw the incident to contact police. During the incident the victim’s mobile phone also went missing.

“If anyone found a Huawei P6 in the pub or High Street, please make contact with police.”

Anyone with information should contact Cheshire police on 101 or visit www.cheshire.police.uk to provide information online, quoting IML 763112.

Alternatively information can be given anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
