Man seriously injured after falling from window at Drumchapel high-rise flats

A man has been seriously injured after falling out of the window of a high-rise flat block in Drumchapel.

Emergency services raced to reports of an injury at a property on Linkwood Crescent around 7.20pm on Monday May 3.

The 29-year-old fell from a first floor window of the high rise and was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.

His injuries are serious but there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances the incident.

Pictures from the scene showed almost half a dozen emergency services in attentendance.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "Around 7.20pm on Monday, 3 May, a 29-year-old man was injured after falling from a first floor window at a property in Linkwood Crescent, Drumchapel.

"He was taken to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital with serious injuries.

"There are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident."
