A man has been taken to hospital with serious injuries following a crash between a motorbike and a car in Rochdale .
Ambulance crews were called to Albert Royds Street at the junction with Rochdale Road just after 11am on Tuesday.
When they arrived at the scene, a man in his early 20s was taken to hospital.
He was described as a 'major trauma patient', which means he suffered serious injuries.
A North West Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called at 11.07am to reports of a collision between a car and a motorcycle.
"A man in his 20s was taken to hospital as a major trauma patient. He suffered serious injuries."
The spokeswoman said an air ambulance, rapid response vehicle and an ambulance were called to the scene.
