Man seriously hurt after vicious attack near Home Bargains - police want to speak to these two

A vicious assault in Nantwich has left a man with 'serious' injuries and a fractured jaw.

The victim was involved in a dispute with two men while waiting for a taxi outside Home Bargains at around 3.25am.

Following the incident, the 22-year-old was punched a 'number of times', leaving him with a fractured jaw.

Cheshire Police have now released a CCTV image of two men they would like to speak to in relation to the incident.

Officers have stated they are keen to speak to the two men in the picture as they are believed to hold 'vital' information in relation to the ongoing investigation.

Detective Constable Laura Hall said: “The victim in this case has sustained serious injuries and we are committed to doing all we can to identify the people responsible.

“As part of our ongoing enquiries we are keen to hear from anyone who was in the area and believes they may have witnessed the incident.

“I’m particularly keen to hear from the two men in the CCTV image as I believe they may hold vital information.

“If you think you recognise the men or have information regarding their identity please come forward.

“I would also like to appeal directly to the men in the CCTV images to get in touch.”

Anyone with information in relation to the incident is asked to call Cheshire Police on 101, quoting IML 1149103.
