A man was seriously injured after being hit by a tram at a Metrolink station in Salford.
He remains in hospital after suffering serious injuries during the late-night collision on Monday (May 20), police say.
Metrolink services between MediaCity UK and Eccles was temporarily suspended while emergency crews dealt with the incident.
Stott Lane and Eccles New Road were both partially closed by police.
A Greater Manchester Police spokesperson confirmed that officers were called to the Weaste Metrolink stop just after 11pm on Monday night.

They said: "Police were called at around 11.10pm on Tuesday 21 May 2019 to reports of a concern for the welfare of a man.
"Officers discovered a man had been involved in a collision with a tram near to the Weaste Metrolink stop on Eccles New Road.
"He remains in hospital with serious injuries."
Transport for Greater Manchester’s Head of Metrolink, Danny Vaughan, said: “Our thoughts are with the injured man, who we hope recovers from this awful incident.
“We’ll be working with the police to understand the full circumstances leading up to this collision and also ensuring the driver receives the necessary support, as this was clearly upsetting for them too.”
TfGM tweeted about the incident at 11.41pm on Monday night (May 20).
"Due to a police incident, there are currently no @MCRMetrolink services between Media City UK and Eccles. Metrolink apologises for any inconvenience," they wrote.
They later added: "Travel Update: Stott Lane at the junction of Eccles New Road is closed. Eccles New Road also closed between Gilda Brook Road and Weaste Road due to police incident. Please use alternative route"
Roads in the area re-opened at around 2.20am on Tuesday morning.
Metrolink services were running as normal on Tuesday morning.
