Police are appealing for information after a man was seriously assaulted in Glasgow city centre in the early hours of this morning.
The incident occurred around 1:40am on Union Street near to Glasgow Central station.
The condition of the 23-year-old is unknown at this time, with police enquiries ongoing.
A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Around 1.40am, officers were called to the Union Street area of Glasgow following reports of a 23-year-old man being seriously assaulted.
"Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full details.
"Anyone with information is urged to contact Police on 101, quoting incident 0228 of 16 March.
