Man seen with gun 'hidden in his clothes' in Harehills still at large

West Yorkshire Police are still searching for a man seen with a gun concealed in his clothes in the Harehills area of Leeds.

On Thursday afternoon, a police helicopter was called in to assist in the search for the suspect, who was spotted on Harehills Lane in possession of a firearm.

West Yorkshire Police have said that nobody is believed to have had been threatened by the man, despite a post on social media suggesting a woman had the gun pulled on her.

The search concluded without the suspect being found but police say enquiries are ongoing.
