A brazen man was captured punching a sign outside an Oldham shop in bizarre CCTV footage.
The clip was captured from outside the family-run Balloon Land party shop on Lees Road.
It was taken on Wednesday evening, February 9, shortly after 6pm.
In the video, the male, dressed in a black North Face tracksuit, can be seen walking from side to side in the middle of the main road.
Seconds later, he charges towards the sign and punches it with force causing it to almost fall over.
He is then seen stepping back before hitting it two more times, completely ripping the paper and damaging the sign.
A member of staff from the shop can then be heard confronting the man before he walks away.
A manager from the shop told the Manchester Evening News that he had asked them to call him a taxi just minutes before the outburst.
They said they will be reporting the incident to the police if the man in question does not come forward and foot the bill.
A spokesperson for Balloon Land said: "He randomly walked in asking us to ring him a taxi, we said sure that's fine, and then he just did all this. We were really confused.
"We are a fairly small family-run business trying to make a living out here, getting by day to day.
"When someone comes around and damages our property like this it is actually really sad.
"All we want is this person to come forward and pay for the damage.
"We don't need to get the police involved as they have much more important jobs to do, however if that is the last option we will have to."
