Man said there's a 'tech vending machine' at Facebook where 'everything is free'

A man said there's a technology 'vending machine' at Facebook's head office where 'everything is free', and has shared a video to prove it.

TikTok star Tap For Insight shared a clip where he approaches a vending machine and to begin with everything seems normal, but as he approaches it he says 'how rich is Facebook you ask?',

Then he moves the camera and reveals the unit is full of expensive technology, from Apple Track Pads, to headphones, to laptop chargers - and much more.

He then types in a number and an item drops to the bottom without him having to put a single penny into the machine.

What do you think about the vending machine? Let us know in the comments

In the video, the man said: "How rich is Facebook you ask? When I worked there they had these vending machines where you literally just click whatever you want and it pops out.

"Headphones, chargers, keyboards, mouse, anything you needed."

The video, uploaded at the beginning of May, has already had one million views, 79,000 likes and over 500 comments - with some people saying they would take the products and sell them later.

One user said: "My data was used to pay that machine."

And another added: "Facebook understands that you could use this to design something that could make them millions."

A third person wrote: "Those amenities are only there so you can stay at work for longer."

While another said: "I would take Apple products and sell them on eBay."

After a while, one user pointed out that the items claimed arent actually free but are billed to the team whichever employee using the machine belongs to.

The TikTok star then replied: "My managers weren't caring about chargers, headphones, etc. It varies per team. S**t's cheap in the grand scheme of things. It's free for whoever is swiping."

A spokesperson for Facebook was able to confirm they do have technology vending machines, but they couldn't see if this one in particular was in one of their offices.
